How to measure your dog?
The widest part of the chest (labeled as "Chest" in the illustration above)
To measure the chest, take the measurement at its broadest point, usually just behind the front legs. If the dog has a larger girth, it's a good idea to size up for the back length measurement, as extra fabric will be needed to ensure a proper fit.
The length of the backbone (labeled as "Back " in the illustration above)
Measure along the dog's backbone, from the base of the head to the base of the tail. This means starting where the collar rests and ending where the tail is attached. The measurements listed on our apparel refer to this top-line measurement. However, it’s important to also consider the dog’s chest girth alongside the back length.
The circumference of the neck (labeled as "Neck" in the illustration above)
The neck size determines the dog’s comfort while wearing clothing. If the neck is too tight, it could make breathing difficult. Different garments may have varying size ranges depending on the flexibility or tightness of the material used.
The chest size is the most critical measurement. If the chest fits well, the other measurements are usually suitable.
